An Inspirational Message

An old man was walking along an expansive beach one summer evening. In the distance, he saw a small figure running up to the water’s edge, throwing something into the sea and running back onto the beach. After watching the figure repeat this course for some period of time, the old man became curious about what was happening.

Eventually, he approached and found that it was, in fact, a young boy. The boy was bending down, picking up a starfish from the wet surf, running to the water’s edge and throwing it as far as he could back into the sea. When the boy returned for his next starfish, the old man stopped him and asked,”Young man, may I ask what you are doing exactly?”

The young boy replied, “I’m saving the starfish, mister.”

The old man looked around, and, noticing how many starfish were washed up this particular evening on the beach, said “But, young man, there are hundreds of starfish on the beach here, and thousands more along the coast. And this is just one beach among hundreds of beaches in this one small area…

…Surely you don’t think that you’re really going to make a difference by throwing one starfish at a time back into the sea!”

With that, the young boy bent down, picked up another starfish, ran down to the water’s edge and threw it, with all the strength that his little frame could manage, as deep into the sea as he could. When he returned, he looked up at the old man and, with a grin, said “It made a difference for that one.”

There is something timeless about this motivational story. It inspires us because of the universal, but often forgotten, truth it holds.

Every day we live, every thing we do, every thought we have makes a difference — even those days and things and thoughts that we (or others) might think are so incredibly insignificant at the time matter.

When you get frustrated by the enormity of something that must be done — when you feel that you won’t be able to make a difference all on your own — when you think that your individual effort and small contribution to the world is insignificant in the grand scheme of things; remember the boy and the starfish.

Great civilizations, great companies, great solutions, great adventures and great relationships don’t happen overnight. They are built slowly over a history of small events that unfold one after the other on a long journey of effort and exploration – one small moment at a time — one small effort at a time.

Tomorrow is just another day.

I am incredibly optimistic about it!

Are you?

The Foreign Exchange Market for Beginners

The Foreign Exchange market or ForEx  market as it is often called is the market in which currencies are traded. Currency Trading is the world’s largest market consisting of almost trillion in daily volume and as investors learn more and become more interested, the market continues to rapidly grow. Not only is the forex market the largest market in the world, but it is also the most liquid, differentiating it from the other markets. In addition, there is no central marketplace for the exchange of currency, but instead the trading is conducted over-the-counter. Unlike the stock market, this decentralization of the market allows traders to choose from a number of different dealers to make trades with and allows for comparison of prices. Typically, the larger a dealer is the better access they have to pricing at the largest banks in the world, and are able to pass that on to their clients. The spot currency market is open twenty-four hours a day, five days a week, with currencies being traded around the world in all of the major financial centers. Learn more about currency trading online.

All trades that take place in the foreign exchange market involve the buying of one currency and the selling of another currency simultaneously. This is because the value of one currency is determined by its comparison to another currency. The first currency of a currency pair is called the “base currency,” while the second currency is called the counter currency. The currency pair shows how much of the counter currency is needed to purchase one unit of the base currency. Currency pairs can be thought of as a single unit that can be bought or sold. When purchasing a currency pair, the base currency is being bought, while the counter currency is being sold. The opposite is true, when the sale of a currency pair takes place. There are four major currency pairs that are traded most often in the foreign exchange market. These include the EUR/USD, USD/JPY, GBP/USD, and USD/CHF.

Forex Capital Markets (FXCM) is an online currency trading firm that offers a free demo account to traders who are new and interested in the foreign exchange market. Registering for a demo account allows a new trader to download the online trading platform that is used by the company’s clients trading live accounts and make trades as if they were doing it with real money. The demo account is an excellent way to experiment with the foreign exchange market while learning your way around the trading platform. It allows you to experience every step of currency trading including choosing currency pairs, deciding how much risk to take, tracking the time and dates of placed trades, deciding how long to stay in the trade, and when to exit the trade. It also allows the placing of stop and limit orders on trades.

Information about trading and specifically about how to use the online trading platform can be found on the FXCM webpage. In addition, FXCM offers FREE interactive online seminars that are extremely useful to both new and experienced currency traders. These “educational webinars,” as they are called are run by experienced financial strategists and range in topics from trading specific news events to trading the Euro. In addition to the webinars, FXCM also offers numerous online courses that teach investors how to trade the currency market.

It Is The Little Things That Makes A Big Difference

It Is The Little Things That Makes A Big Difference

There was a man taking a morning wa lk at or the beach. He saw that along with the morning tide came hundreds of starfish and when the tide receded, they were left behind and with the morning sun rays, they would die. The tide was fresh and the starfish were alive.

The man took a few steps, picked one and threw it into the water. He did that repeatedly. Right behind him there was another person who couldn't understand what this man was doing. He caught up with him and asked, "What are you doing?

There are hundreds of starfish. How many can you help? What difference does it make?" This man did not reply, took two more steps, picked up another one, threw it into the water, and said, "It makes a difference to this one."

Does your Forex Broker cut the mustard?

There are many Forex Brokers, but not all were created equal. When it comes to your money, you want to be certain that your Broker meets your expectations. It is your right to ask as many questions as you need to feel comfortable about your venture and if you don’t get the answers your want, you should consider finding another Broker.

Why Size Does Matter :

Size matters. Because the Forex market is an over-the-counter market with no centralized exchange, not everyone receives access to the same prices or quality of execution. Institutions with the largest trade volume and the most solid financials have access to better prices and execution. The bigger the broker, the better they are able to pass on the benefits of size, better prices, and better execution to you.

Who Executes Your Orders?
Not all Forex Brokers quote rates the same way. Below are two possible options:
Dealing Desk means that your Forex Broker creates the pricing and executes your orders. The spread is usually fixed, which means that traditionally, the spreads are higher than average variable spreads. Check for restrictions on placing orders during news or economic events; for many traders, this is a key time to trade.
No Dealing Desk usually means that multiple banks stream competing prices through your Forex Broker, so your orders are executed by the banks themselves. This means that there are usually no restrictions on trading news or economic events, but you should check with your broker.

Spreads
Fractional Pip Pricing
Most major currency pairs are quoted to four decimal places, so a pip would typically equal .0001 or one basis point. Forex Brokers generally round the price up or down to the nearest pip; but some now offer Fractional Pip-Pricing. It ads an additional decimal place, so spreads are usually tighter and more accurate.

Scalping the Market

Many traders favor short-term scalping strategies, which involves placing orders inside the spread. For scalping to be profitable for the client, the market maker must lose, so some Forex Brokers disallow the strategy. This strategy involves a high level of risk.

Rollover
Rollover is interest earned or paid on Forex positions held overnight. It varies depending on the difference in interest rates between a currency pair and fluctuates day to day with the movement of prices. A Negative Roll is when you sell a currency that pays higher interest rate, so you pay interest. A Positive Roll is when you buy a currency that pays higher interest rate, so you can earn interest. Negative Rolls are routine, but not all Forex Brokers offer positive rolls.

The "Carry Trade" is a popular Forex strategy which benefits from Positive Rolls and the high leverage available in the Forex market. For example, if you buy the USD/JPY, you can earn a positive roll. You are essentially borrowing the Japanese yen at a low interest rate cost to buy the US dollar with a high interest rate earning. Remember that leverage can dramatically amplify your losses, so beware of this technique, as it carries a high level of risk.

Hedging
Hedging lets you simultaneously hold BUY and SELL positions in the same currency pair. The most effective way to trade a market if you are uncertain about its direction is to find concrete support and resistance levels. This allows you to pinpoint levels where significant price action will take place.

Hedged positions do not necessarily limit risk as traders can find themselves losing on both sides of the trade. While this strategy tends to work temporarily in range markets, it does not work well in trending markets. Placing stop-loss orders on your positions to mitigate your risk is strongly recommended.

The National Futures Association, a self-regulatory organization in the US, adopted a new Compliance Rule 2-43 in 2009 that prohibits customers of Forex Dealer Members to open a "hedged" position in the same account. This rule may not apply to Forex Dealers outside of the US.

Customer Support
Forex trading works 24 hours a day. Does your Forex Broker? When you ask them questions, do they answer them clearly and honestly or do they give you the run-around?

The Power of Thinking Positive

Most of the time, people does not realize how good, strong, determined and real the power of positive thinking is. With positive thinking and motivation, you can attain any level in your life such as the target of weight loss, purchasing house, car, job or anything.

Consider this positive thinking story:

There was a little girl who loved animals. Her dream was to see dolphins swimming. She loved the aquariums and zoos. Every day when she walked home she would see a big advertisement of the aquarium in Singapore. She would watch it and say one day I am coming to you. She had no means of travelling not even a passport. Once the situation turned such that she was forced to make a passport. She stood in long queues and hours of wait and lot of checks. Finally the passport arrived and she showed it at the required place of administration.

Within a few weeks she discovered she was chosen as an intern in an international company and had to be at her internship organisation away from her home. What country do you think she was being sent to? None other than Singapore! Her joy knew no bounds. She was at her destination even before she knew. She started work and at one of the weekends her colleague asked her if she wanted a little tour. She said a yes and off they went touring Singapore. They hit the aquarium and the girl was ecstatic. It was beautiful. Lots and lots of exotic sea life inside it, complete with a diver. But to her dismay no dolphins at all.

After that they went on to the zoo. Full with lovely animals the zoo was a treat. They next landed in an animal show and to the girl’s delight there were dolphins that were performing in this show. They were swimming and bobbling and screeching. She loved the sight and thanked god. She had tears in her eyes. Her dream came true. Hold on, right after the dolphin show got over, in came some white Beluga whales. This was like a bonus for the girl. More than what she had asked for. The whales performed and even sang, something that she only read in a book.

Be ready for success Always be ready for success. Make plans and work on them. Think of all the possibilities. Dream big and have faith. Have good positive thoughts. You never know which might come true.

Positive Energy

Have you ever been moved or touched by someone because they were so sincere, or they had so much passion? Whether it is a speech to rally the troops, or a somber story to tell the tale of a loved one, positive energy is what moves each and every one of us to believe in ourselves and take action more than were that energy not around. Think about it for a moment. Someone who has optimism and believes in a cause will spread that optimism to others. Let's see now how that positive energy can be used for your own life and to help others.

Positive Energy is important for one who seeks to be happy and successful. Beyond that, there is an 'energy' that you emmit going throughout life. Let's call this 'energy' an aura that each and every person has. Some people have a faint one, some a very strong one, and some give off an intense aura. The aura ranges from extremely positive, to extremely negative. I do not wish to discuss the negative energy that some people have leading them to do unspeakable acts, but rather what positive energy entails, how positive energy can enable you to influence others, help others succeed, and help yourself transcend this life.

There are many factors that attribute to a person having this kind of aura. Some of these include:

Calm and relaxed, even under intense circumstances
Accepting of those things that he/she cannot change
Persistent and determined in areas he/she can change
Compassionate to other humans and animals
    At peace with themself
Seeks after healthy foods and habits
    Seeks uplifting and inspiring music
    Optimistic, even when others doubt
A bringer of amazement and even miracles
Seems to be transcending this life

How Your Positive Energy Helps Others Succeed
Having positive energy will help you be a good leader. Pass on this energy to those you are with and watch the feats they are able to accomplish. Having a team of people with positive energy in abundance is a marvelous thing. When others see your positive energy, that energy will be contageous and spread to them. People will be inspired by you as you maintain positive energy and confidence. Encourage others, cheer them on, and let them use their strengths. Give people the freedom to be creative.
Positive Energy Enables You to Transcend This Life
Maintain positive energy and you will begin to transcend this life. You will begin to see things that you otherwise could not have seen. You will gain a confidence and determination that will allow you to accomplish great things. Seeing past every day things, you will begin to understand that there is much more to life than simple day to day living. Also you maintain positive energy, you will be able to tap into things that most people never even realize. This is something that you need to figure out for yourself, and by being upbeat, confident, and having positive energy, I have no doubt you will.

I hope you enjoyed this section on positive energy. With positive energy, you will be better equipped to succeed and influence others.

Body Shopping

Body shopping, or temp placements, is typically the unstructured placement of staff at a client's site, meaning that the client has to treat them the same as their own employees, with all the hassles of training, attendance and performance management, and everything else. Outsourcing, on the other hand, provides the client with a proper support organization and management team behind the relationship. So it costs a bit more, but it's a lot less strain on a client's internal management resources. Our outsourcing proposition includes: giving our staff pre-training, guarantees of service continuity, no pay raises that affect the client, internal management and motivation plans, etc. So you can see that outsourcing is a much more professional and better thought out service. Because of this, while we accept smaller opportunities as well, usually we outsource a team of 5-10 people with its own internal manager.

Paying another company to provide services which a company might otherwise have employed its own staff to perform, e.g. software development.

Contracting with outside consultants, software houses or service bureaus to perform systems analysis, programming and datacenter operations. Contrast with insourcing.

The practice of a company hiring a different company to supplement its services at a lower cost. For example, a company may outsource its accounting to another firm, which would then prepare and provide appropriate statements for the company.

Contracting with organizations outside your country for work that could otherwise be done by employees within your company.
