An Exciting Experience with my Trainer

On the month of September, I have joined AeroSoft Team as Manager HR and my training session was scheduled on 30th September. The company AeroSoft is entirely different from my back ground in terms of academics and experience. To be honest, I did know nothing about aviation industry. With the intention of learning new things, I was eagerly waiting for my Training session. Unfortunately I could not join the training session due to personal problem. I have heard people saying “The first impression is the best impression”. On The first day of my training, I got introduced to my trainer - “Miss Surbhi Maheswari” and started up with an excuse thinking it’s going to create a bad expression but to my surprise, my trainer was really gentle and accepted the extension request in joining the training. Finally I landed up on 21st October and started with the first day of training. It was very formal; she started with introduction to AeroSoft which has young and energetic team and about blogs. She shared few links and asked me to go through it. She also explained me the benefits of being blogger and on going through the blogs, I can understand new concepts. That moment I felt like “a blind person left in the forest”. After an hour, she again continued the training session, she told me to feel free to ask doubts regarding any terms. Then I took a relaxed breath and started asking her questions and she was replying all my questions with an example. The questions which I asked were too silly, without ignoring she helped me out in giving explanations. Very soon I was comfortable with my trainer and I was going through an interesting session of team work. Daily she started to give me a lot of suggestions in completing the task. She then started assigning task to me whereas I decided to give my best. As we know a trainer who does the job of “training team on a given task” but I got extra ordinary training where she taught me the toughest things in a simple way. She waits until I understand and get through the concepts. Sometimes it makes me wonder “from where did she get so much patience”. The most attractive part is that even if I ask the same question after 2 or 3 days, she comes out with polite explanation whereas we cannot expect the same from others. Not only during training timings, I got assistance anytime.

The first blog that impressed me was about “Vinayagar Chathurthi” written by Miss Surbhi. Sometimes It is very interesting to go back to see the history and purpose of festival and celebrations. Then I was really expecting for blog on Dusserha, on the day of festival she has put up the blog. It was an excellent blog and my expectations got fulfilled. Not only festive blogs, she has written many blogs which I admire the most. She guides me and keeps me updating regarding the happenings in social networks.  After few days, I started to share my ideas, my blogs etc. She always appreciates me in all things I do at work. She has provided me with great knowledge training session which will last throughout my life. There is a quote “Knowledge is power” which I realized after the successful session. I just entered the training with “a desire to learn new things”, learnt things and will work hard to reach destination with the help of trainer and team.

I would like to thank her for the best training session that she has provided me; brought “an exciting experience” and that could not be replaced by any other trainers. Thanks a ton Miss Surbhi Maheswari.

I always believe Miss Surbhi - adorable trainer will guide me as well the forth coming new joiners at AeroSoft in all aspects of works.

Life Changing Keys to Success

Success is everybody’s dream. But what is the key to success? How can you be successful? success based
on how much we give rather than how much we receive. Fortunately, it also works nicely the other way around since those who give more almost always will also receive more. Based on that, you can see that the more value you give to others, the more successful you will be.

Positive thinking is contagious. People around you pick your mental moods and are affected accordingly.

Think about happiness, good health and success, and you will cause people to like you and desire to help you, because they enjoy the vibrations that a positive mind emits.

In order to make positive thinking yield results, you need to develop a positive attitude toward life, expect a successful outcome of whatever you do, but also take any necessary actions to ensure your success.

Effective positive thinking that brings results is much more than just repeating a few positive words, or telling yourself that everything is going to be all right. It has to be your predominant mental attitude. It is not enough to think positively for a few moments, and then letting fears and lack of belief enter your mind. Some effort and inner work are necessary.

Success does not belong to a select few; success belongs to “you,” if you’re willing to go after it.

Success is never handed out, you must take it, but you don’t take it by force.  You take success by becoming a successful person internally.  When you succeed on the inside, by taking on the thoughts of a successful person, the results will show on the outside. “No one ever attains very eminent success by simply doing what is required of him; it is the amount and excellence of what is over and above the required that determines the greatness of ultimate distinction.”

Success won’t fall in your lap; you have to go after it.  You have to chase it down.  You have to want it more than anything else.  A lazy person won’t succeed, only those who are willing to work; those who are willing to “go to it.”

Are you willing to go to success?  Do you have a clear vision, do you have a burning desire, are you willing to fail, if you are, you are well on your way to success.

“Success doesn’t come to you, you go to it.”

“The secret of success in life is for a man to be ready for his opportunity when it comes.”

“Success is simply a matter of luck. Ask any failure.”

“Success is still the constant application of the Golden Rule.”

Confidence is the companion of success.”

“A most important key to successful leadership is your ability to direct and challenge the very best that is in those whom you lead.”

How Search Engine Technologies are Helping in the Fight Against Crime

Search engines have come a long way in a short period of time. Recent algorithm updates at Google have brought search one step closer to being a fully intelligent tool. Google now understands meaning and context to a far more sophisticated degree than was previously possible. While this was designed to improve the results of searching activity, it also has broader implications. Search engines and computer technologies more widely are now becoming increasingly central to the fight against crime. From cyber threats to terrorism and intelligence gathering, the practical benefits of improving technologies are manifold.

One of the most obvious ways online technologies can be used in detecting crime is through social media. Social media sites like Facebook and Twitter can be the source of a particular crime, for example harassment or abuse directed at particular individuals. But beyond that, these sites can also be extremely useful in building up a picture of the people behind them. As a result, law enforcement officers are now increasingly turning to Facebook searches to learn more about suspected criminals and their behavior. In some examples, photos of the trappings of the crime can be enough to add another all-important strand of evidence.

There are also data and records created whenever you do anything online. Emails have time-stamps, as a most basic way of validating when a message was sent. Beyond that, it is possible to track who sent messages, or more specifically the computer and Internet connection that were used to send them. IP address data is one example that can be relatively easily obtained. For the purposes of finding out most things, this level of digging is all that is required to find what you need. But in some situations, you may require a more involved approach.

There are some aspects of detecting crime that call for more specific solutions. When someone is suspected of engaging in criminal activity, digital equipment can be seized under court direction for more detailed analysis. Experts with a digital forensics degree can be called upon to seize equipment, and to further analyze the contents in order to uncover how the machines have been used. While the processes are expert, and governed largely by the legal requirements in the jurisdiction concerned, they are extremely useful for uncovering more particular details that may lead to a conviction.

Search engine technologies have vastly improved over time. It is now feasible to search the so-called “deep web” for more information. Even average searchers can now find narrow, specific pieces of information in seconds. When that is taken a step further into the realms of crime detection and enforcement, the capabilities become so much greater. With the right knowledge and expertise, even removed, deleted or corrupted information can be recovered from individual computers to help lead to prosecution. This actively makes life easier for those concerned in bringing criminals to justice, in terms of computer related crimes and in the wider context.

Self Motivation

Staying motivated is a struggle — our drive is constantly assaulted by negative thoughts and anxiety about the future. Everyone faces doubt and depression. What separates the highly successful is the ability to keep moving forward.
There is no simple solution for a lack of motivation. Even after beating it, the problem reappears at the first sign of failure. The key is understanding your thoughts and how they drive your emotions. By learning how to nurture motivating thoughts, neutralize negative ones, and focus on the task at hand, you can pull yourself out of a slump before it gains momentum.

Why do you need self motivation?

  - You cannot always rely on others to encourage you, if you have positive friends who are always there when you need them then you are indeed lucky and very much in the minority. If you are lonely or have few friends when you face any difficulties in your life you must rely on your own motivation to get you through. Lack of self motivation at that time could lead to depression.
  - You need self motivation to achieve because if you don't encourage yourself to accept opportunity and challenge who will?
  - To plan and find direction in your life.
  - To take up a new activity, hobby or challenge.
  - To be enthusiastic about life and living.
  - To have the courage to see things through despite setbacks or negative comments from others.

Reasons We Lose Motivation

There are 3 primary reasons we lose motivation.

  1. Lack of confidence – If you don’t believe you can succeed, what’s the point in trying?
  2. Lack of focus – If you don’t know what you want, do you really want anything?
  3. Lack of direction – If you don’t know what to do, how can you be motivated to do it?

If you want to excel in life, self motivation is essential. You must know how to motivate yourself. You must be able to keep your spirit high no matter how discouraging a situation is. That’s the only way to get the power you need to overcome difficulties. Those who are discouraged in difficult times are certain to lose even before the battle is over.
Self Motivation: How to Motivate YourselfThe question is: how do you motivate yourself? Here are several tips I’ve found to be effective to build self motivation :

1. Have a cause

I can’t think of a more powerful source of motivation than a cause you care about. Such cause can inspire you to give your best even in the face of difficulties. It can make you do the seemingly impossible things.
While other causes could inspire you temporarily, a cause that matters to you can inspire you indefinitely. It’s a spring of motivation that will never dry. Whenever you think that you run out of motivation,  you can always come to your cause to get a fresh dose of motivation.

2. Have a dream. A big dream.

"Only as high as I reach can I grow, only as far as I seek can I go, only as deep as I look can I see, only as much as I dream can I be."
    Karen Ravn

Your cause is a powerful source of motivation but it’s still abstract in nature. You need to make it concrete in the form of a dream. Imagine how the world will be in the future. Imagine how people will live and work. Having a dream is important because it’s difficult to be motivated if you don’t have anything to shoot for. Just think about people who play basketball. Will they be motivated to play if there is no basket to aim at? I don’t think so. They need a goal. You need a goal. That’s what your dream is for. But just having a dream is insufficient. Your dream must be big enough to inspire you. It must be realistic but challenging. It must stretch your ability beyond your comfort zone.

3. Be hungry

"Wanting something is not enough. You must hunger for it. Your motivation must be absolutely compelling in order to overcome the obstacles that will invariably come your way."
    Les Brown

To be truly motivated, you need to have hunger and not just desire. Having mere desire won’t take you through difficult times since you don’t want things badly enough. In many cases, hunger makes the difference between the best performers and the mediocre ones.

How can you have hunger? Your cause and your dream play a big role here. If you have a cause you care about and a big dream related to it, you should have the hunger inside of you. If you think that you are losing hunger, all you need to do is to connect again to your cause and dream. Let them inspire you and bring the hunger back.

4. Run your own race

"I do not try to dance better than anyone else. I only try to dance better than myself."
    Mikhail Baryshnikov

Comparing yourself with others is an effective way to demotivate yourself. Even if you start with enthusiasm, you will soon lose your energy when you compare yourself with others.

Don’t let that happen to you. You have your own race so how other people perform is irrelevant. Comparing yourself with others is like comparing the performance of a swimmer with a runner using the same time standard. They are different so how can you compare one with the other?

The only competitor you have is yourself. The only one you need to beat is you. Have you become the best you can be?

5. Take one more step

"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts."
    Winston Churchill

When you meet obstacles along the way, there could be the tendency to quit. You may think that it’s too difficult to move on. You may think that your dream is impossible to achieve. But this is where you can see the difference between winners and losers. Though both of them face the same difficulties, there is one thing that makes the winners different: the courage to continue.

In difficult situations, just focus on taking one more step forward. Don’t think about how to complete the race. Don’t think about how many more obstacles are waiting for you. Just focus on taking the next step.

6. Let go of the past

"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could."
    Ralph Waldo Emerson

Believe it or not, one of the best demotivators is your past. Your past can drag you down before you realize it. Your past can give you a heavy burden on your shoulders.

The good news is it’s a burden you don’t have to carry. Take it off your shoulder and leave it. You might make mistakes in the past. You might disappoint others with what you did. But it’s over. It’s already in the past and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Today is a new day and you have the chance to start again. No matter how bad your past might be, you still have a bright future ahead waiting for you. Just don’t let the burden of the past stop you.

A true example of how to deal with setbacks :

Thomas Edison invented the incandescent light bulb. He is said to have failed trying many many thousands of times before he finally got it right. He is a great example of how self motivation will keep you going through what most people would think of as failure. Instead of giving in after one of his many attempts didn't work, he kept going and tried something different and eventually succeeded. You could say his persistence lit up the world! He would only have failed if he had stopped and given up. This is what he said about his experience after trying thousands of times without success:

"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."

You cannot lose if you keep trying your best, it is only a matter of time until you succeed. At any time you may change your goal or the steps you need to follow. This is not giving up but maybe you decide at some point there is something else you want to do or your goal no longer applies. You decide what you aim for and you decide when you are a success. Failure only means you haven’t succeeded yet.

Optimism : Eliminating Negatives and Pessimistics

There once was a bunch of tiny tortoises who arranged a running competition. The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower . A big crowd had gathered around the tower to see the race and cheer on the contestants...

The race began...

Honestly, No one in crowd really believed that the tiny tortoises would reach the top of the tower.

You heard statements such as:

"Oh, WAY too difficult!! They will NEVER make it to the top."

or:

"Not a chance that they will succeed. The tower is too high!"

The tiny tortoises began collapsing. One by one...... Except for those who in a fresh tempo were climbing higher and higher...

The crowd continued to yell......

"It is too difficult!!! No one will make it!"

More tiny tortoises got tired and gave up......But ONE continued higher and higher and higher...

This one wouldn't give up!

At the end everyone else had given up climbing the tower. Except for the one tiny tortoise who after a big effort was the only one who reached the top!

THEN all of the other tiny tortoises naturally wanted to know how this one frog managed to do it?

A contestant asked the tiny frog how the one who succeeded had found the strength to reach the goal?

It turned out that.....The winner was DEAF!!!!
He was unable to listen to the negative thoughts of People instead , he thought that people were encouraging him to climb up and up.

The wisdom of this story is:

Never listen to other people's tendencies to be negative or pessimistic...

...cause they take your most wonderful dreams and wishes away from you. The ones you have in your heart!

Always think of the power words have.

Because everything you hear and read will affect your actions!

Therefore: ALWAYS be...POSITIVE!

And above all:

Be DEAF when people tell YOU that YOU can not fulfil YOUR dreams!
Take their words always as encouraging words and be self motivated !!

Always think: I can do this!

Breathe .. Let Go .... Just BE !!!
